How to Make Money Online?

I came to Hubpages after following a thread that started How to make money online; the Webpage told me that for very little effort I could be bringing in thousands of dollars every week. My inbox is now full of offers from this webpage citing cases of people who have made ludicrous sums like $300 million using the secrets they offer and saying that I could join this band of wealthy people This is just one of the lines out of one of the emails ‘Quick way to produce $1,000 week every week starting TODAY!.’

They started out by asking for $97 for this secret and with each email that I have not responded to they have reduced the sum I think it is down to around $37 at the moment. What I don’t understand is why they would put so much effort into trying to get such a small amount (compared with what they are offering in their emails) of money out of me if it is so easy to generate such huge amounts with little or no effort? They claim to have made more money than they know what to do with and they are only doing this to give something back, but they seem to be pursuing me rather persistently for someone who doesn’t have any interest in the money. They claim that the money asked from you is only to weed out the time wasters, and to test your commitment mmm... What do you think?

However I must say that I owe them a debt of gratitude because it is through them that I got to know about Hubpages. I have just finished reading a Hubpage by pgrundy who tells you for free the truth about making money online this site is so full of useful information that I have bookmarked so that I can follow up on some of her suggestions. If you read my profile you will see that I have only been on Hubpages a few days so there are so many things that are new to me which I am not sure what to do or sometimes how to do it so experienced Hubbers please excuse any mistakes in Netiquette that I may have made.

Beware though if your aim is to make money by doing nothing then this is not the Hubpage for you, but if you love to write and are not afraid of hard work then you will find real treasure here.

Well after nearly a week on Hubpages I have published five Hubs (this will be the sixth)I have had no comments up to the time of writing, but I have acquired three fans so at least three people have read something of mine even if it is only my name. I am not sure from the number of hits that I have managed to get that I would be able to generate enough money from Adsense to be paid more than once every five years, that is assuming I am able to sort out a way for them to pay me.

After reading many of the Hubs which are of a superb quality I am not sure that I will ever be able to make money online, but I know that I get a real sense of achievement when I see something of mine on a Hub and I really enjoy the process of writing and producing something. Many of the Hubs are produced by people who write professionally and it shows in their content and in the quality of their writing, but Hubpages doesn’t require you to take an exam before they allow you to publish, just as well because I am not sure that I would pass any exams in English. I left school at fifteen and really didn’t know how poorly educated I was until I went to work and they sent me to day release college once a week until I was eighteen.

To conclude this little ramble of mine I would love to be able to make some money doing something I love, but because I do love doing it I am just happy to have found a place where I can write pretty much as I want and then publish it where possibly a few people can read and enjoy what I have written.
